What is Carvr?
Carvr turns a finished email design into a ready-to-send template in your ESP. It slices the design into sections the way a human would, compresses each image, writes AI alt text, sets the link on every section, and creates a native drag-and-drop template in Klaviyo (or Omnisend or Mailchimp). What used to be 25 minutes of slicing and uploading is a single click.
There are two ways in: the Figma plugin if you design in Figma, or the web app if you export a full-length image from any other tool. Subject line and preview text are set on the campaign in your ESP, not in Carvr.
Three steps to your first email
Connect your brands
A brand is one ESP account - one Klaviyo account, one Omnisend account, or one Mailchimp account. Whether you have one brand or three hundred, add them all under Brands: click Add Brand, choose Klaviyo, pick the account, click Allow. Brands are unlimited on every plan.
Invite your team
Click your name at the bottom of the left menu, open Team, and invite anyone who uploads emails. Everyone on the account shares the same brands, the same email history, and the same plan, and can upload to any brand at the same time.
Send your first email
Designing in Figma? Install the plugin from the Figma Community, log in with your Carvr account, select your email frame, choose the brand, and click Send to Klaviyo. About thirty seconds later the template is in Klaviyo.
Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, anything else? Export the whole email as one image (1200px wide is ideal), open the editor, pick the brand, and drag the image in. Click Slice All, then Upload to Klaviyo.

Frequently Asked Questions
What design tools does Carvr support?
The Figma plugin is the fastest way - select your frame and click send. If your team uses Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Sketch, or any other tool, export the full email as a JPEG or PNG and upload it through the Carvr web app.
Which email platforms can Carvr send to?
Klaviyo (connected with one click via OAuth), plus Omnisend and Mailchimp (connected with an API key). Each brand is connected to one ESP, and the send button names it.
Do I need to know HTML or code?
Not at all. Carvr handles the slicing, image compression, alt text, and template creation automatically. You design, click send, and the template appears in your ESP as a native drag-and-drop template.
How does the AI slicing work?
Carvr analyzes your design and finds the places a human would cut it: background changes, content boundaries, and quiet zones between sections. You can adjust any line afterwards in the web editor.
What Klaviyo plan do I need?
Any Klaviyo plan that supports custom templates. You connect with your Klaviyo login - no API key to create or paste.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 5 emails a month with no card required. Paid plans start with a 14-day trial.
